The Child Protection Awareness training will cover the essential safeguarding and child protection procedures as detailed in the Inter-agency Child Protection Procedures for Edinburgh and Lothians. This training is for all staff who have regular contact with children and young people. The learning outcomes will address:
• The current context for child protection
• Developing/refreshing your understanding of child protection issues
• Raising your awareness of your role in the child protection process
